Set in the idyllic rural hamlet of Castle Ashby, just a few miles from Northampton, Wellingborough and Bedford, dating back to the 16th century. The Falcon is a traditional country Hotel or Inn with the emphasis on excellent food and service, but without being pretentious.

Our 16 bedrooms are all en suite, with 6 situated in the main Hotelthe remainder in our adjacent cottages. Decorated with country fabrics and subtle colours.

The Falcon Hotel provides the perfect setting for country weddings, corporate and private parties and weekend breaks. Licensed for civil ceremonies, the hotel can accommodate weddings of up to 120 guests in a marquee set in a typical English Country Garden.

Our award-winning Compton's Restaurant overlooks our delightfully mature gardens. The chefs use local produce whenever possible, however quality always takes priority. Complemented by a recently created wine list, including Old classics as well as exciting New World wines. Situated just a few minutes from Castle Ashby House, the Falcon is within easy walking distance of the magnificent grounds. The Marquis of Northampton's family have owned the 10,000 acre estate for over four centuries, and it encompasses many of the local hamlets and villages.

Walks and Views Abound

Dotted around the area is a range of gentle diversions. With walks and views to suit all abilities and tastes. Scour the guidebooks for local flora and fauna, you wont be disappointed. There's Golf, Riding, Fishing and Shooting nearby. More adventurous guests can explore further a field, with Silverstone, Stratford-on-Avon, Bedford, Woburn and Althorp all not far away, and at Milton Keynes (just 17 miles away) is one of the countries best indoor "real snow" sky slopes, a free~fall chamber for adrenalin junkies and a cinema complex.
